Starting July 1st 2011 Connecticut State Sales Tax Increases!! The general state sales tax will increase from 6% to 6.35%. There are over 10 NEW taxable services. IFS is now providing over all cash management. We work with your company to improve cash flow, analyze gross profit margins in total or by departments, streamline accounts receivable processes and put collection policies in place, review accounts payable policies to maximize discounts or extend payments without penalty.
Some of our other new services include: review of overall expenses to determine if we can reduces expenses while still providing the same level of services; i.e. if credit cards are accepted-negotiate lower rate and/or use onsite terminals, review utilities-telephone, supplies and etc. for lower costs and BEST OF All assistance in getting financing.

Sunsetting QuickBooks 2008!
What does sunsetting QuickBooks mean?
After May 31, 2011, you won’t be able to access services from within your QuickBooks 2008. If you don’t want to access Payroll, Merchant Services, or other services or support, you can continue to use your QuickBooks 2008. Otherwise, by upgrading to QuickBooks 2011, you’ll be able to continue access to services and support.
Who and What does the sunsetting effect?
All Payroll Services, Employee Organizer, Merchant Service, Billing Solution (formerly QuickBooks Online Billing), Bill Pay, Online Banking, Technical Support Plans and Services.
QuickBooks will no longer automatically calculate correct payroll taxes or provide payroll tax forms after May 31, 2010.
What do you do now?
If you are a 2008 QuickBooks user you will need to upgrade to QuickBooks 2011. Call our office @ 860-241-9474 before May 31, 2011 so that we may get our representative in contact with you in order for you to receive a discount on QuickBooks 2011.
